What Does the Registration Fee Include?
The full conference attendee fee provides for almost two full days of educational program including the opening address with the Keynote Speaker. It also includes networking opportunities with the conference exhibitors, early Saturday and Sunday morning refreshments, Saturday and Sunday lunches featuring products from Florida’s small farms, and all refreshment breaks.
Participants who are unable to attend the full conference may take advantage of the one day attendee fee. The one day fee includes participation in the educational program and events for that day, including networking opportunities with the conference exhibitors, morning refreshments, and lunch featuring locally-produced food.
Refund Policy
On or before July 19, 2010: All refund requests must be received in writing by July 19, 2010. A processing fee of $30.00 will be deducted from all refunds. No refunds will be honored for cancellations after July 19, 2010. Email refund requests to Kim Brand at kimmer72@ufl.edu
Participants with Children
While the conference educational program is geared to adult education, the conference organizers are sensitive to the need of participants who may need to attend with their children. The conference is unable to provide babysitting services or activities for older kids, however, a room will be available for nursing mothers and parents that need a short break from the conference (Family Rest Area). Parents will be responsible for the supervision of their children at all times and will not be allowed to leave their children in any area or room unsupervised.
Special Needs
Participants with special needs (such as visual, hearing or walking impairments) can be reasonably accommodated by contacting the Office of Conferences & Institutes at least 21 working days prior to the conference. We can be reached by phone at 1-352-392-5930, by FAX at 1-352-392-9734, or by calling 1-800-955-8771 (TDD). The TDD number can only be accessed from within the State of Florida.
